THE IMPORTANCE OF THE LOCAL CHURCH

For 9 Chapters we have seen how Nehemiah’s work to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and to rebuild the spiritual life of God’s people gives us insight in Establishing His Kingdom in our own hearts, in our families and in this world; and in taking hold of Jesus words in Matthew 16 that he would “..build {His} church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”

Chapter 10 gives us of yet another powerful tool that God has given us that helps us to Establish His Kingdom by both building it and maintaining it in our hearts, in our families and in this world – The Local Church.

The Church is God’s PRIMARY VEHICLE for establishment of God’s Kingdom in this world
The Church is worthy of our PARTICIPATION
The Church requires our INVESTMENT
