Getting back to basics means we KEEP THE FIRE BURNING

• The Fire represented the PRESENCE and HOLINESS of God
• The Fire was IGNITED by God
• The Fire was to be MAINTAINED by the priests
– Ashes cleaned out and carried away
– New wood
– Protection from wind and rain
• God does not want the fire to GO OUT
